Alessandro Agnellini Singapore

Since the last talk went well, I was so passionate about connecting that I started to drop more emails with more people. However, I couldn't sleep very well with this one.

What happen was that I dropped an email to Alessandro from Ogilvy Singapore since I saw that on their website, they have done some work on climate change and I was hoping that perhaps, I could get some feedback since I also did some work on climate change (Extinction Rebellion)

However, the email that came back was for me to send my portfolio over and that he would get back to me as soon as he can. There is nothing wrong with this. But what I was hoping was for me to present some of my work and talk it through with him......

I'm assuming that he prefers to go over himself so I just drop him a link to my Behance. The lesson learnt is that you can't always be there to present your ideas. The idea should speak for itself. If someone cannot understand your idea, it's a missed opportunity then. At the moment, I only have about 5 projects on my Behance. It is so little that I can count with less than 10 fingers. I feel that it is very lacking.... But on the side note, when I tried to click on his personal website at the bottom of the email to see his stuff, it brings me to a 404 error not found page......I just wonder if he is really going to look through any of the projects that I uploaded or is he just saying that for the sake of saying?

Another side note, I don't have any personal preference when it comes to working. I just thought to myself that if someone wants me in the UK, then thats great. Otherwise, I'll pack my bags and go home to Singapore to see what I can do. One of the reason for coming to the UK was because of the difference in culture working. I just thought to myself that if it is possible, I'll like to try and experience what's it like working in the UK. I wouldn't say there is a perfect working environment in the UK. But I feel that maybe it is less unhealthy in UK as compared to the over-time working culture in Singapore which I experienced it during my internship.
