Portfolio Making
These days, I took the opportunity to build on my portfolio. There were a lot of interesting projects that I work on and while we are all trying to make connections with the people in the working world, I think the portfolio shouldn't be negligent as well. This is so that in case, I really get to speak with someone, I should like to show them something that I have done.
Previously, when I was doing my diploma in Singapore, I find that my portfolio was really lacking. It wasn't showing much of my skills as I wasn't too sure if I would like to be in copy or art. I just thought that perhaps my 'best' works should go in. Then I realised that there isn't a 'best' work. It should be work that could help showcase my skills.
At the moment, I only have 4 projects. Which seems quite sad but it's fine. I will continue to add more in the meantime. Some of the projects require more fine-tuning in terms of the ideation or the layout which I will work on. On the other hand, I've also connected with more people on LinkedIn. Connecting with people seems daunting, but I do feel that it's a good start. Personally, I don't mind working in the UK. I find that it is a good exposure and for now, I have done some research on the work that CULT London have done and it seems interesting. Hopefully, I'll get to speak with someone soon.
