Ogilvy Singapore

Yesterday, the resume was done and today, it is submitted. A few of my friends who did a placement at Ogilvy Singapore said that it was a company with great mentors. They have a lot of good stuff on their website and mentors who are willing to help. While working on the resume, I was struggling to find a style, layout and everything. How should I best layout everything so that my resume would stand out? What should I write so that people would actually read the resume? At the same time, I realised that I don't have much on my resume to write about. I haven't won any awards sadly. Perhaps they would take you more seriously if you won an award? But I don't think it is something to be very sad about. Winning or not is one thing, but more importantly, I enjoyed the whole process and the collaboration with my partners.

As of now, I have applied to about 4 companies: BBH The Labs, Ogilvy Singapore, Cry Havoc Leeds and Widen + Kennedy London. I honestly don't have much preference on where I will work. So long as I have more things to put on my portfolio and I learnt something and that's good for me.
