New Portfolio

With the feedback from Young Creative Council, I've made some changes to my portfolio.  It's not a major change but I thought that I could perhaps add more personality. Apart from my Youtube channel, I do enjoy drawing some graphic illustrations. But, it is not something that I am very passionate about. It usually happens when I'm feeling it. The kind of illustrations that I like are somewhat similar to the Artisan Drinks. I heard it is called Art Deco and it was really popular during the 1920s and 30s.

But, I prefer to film and edit my vlogs because I'm always on the phone. The thought of being able to capture that moment is very precious to me. Because if I missed that moment, it is very hard to go back again. That's why my vlogs became a way of looking back at the memories.

         Passion Project

Each image is a screenshot of my vlogs. I really hope to capture more even though I'm graduating. As an international student, I've made a lot of friends and have had a good experience. The only thing I regret is that I should have started this earlier.

Passion project aside, I've also made some little adjustments to the work as well. The fonts that were too big or the colour that wasn't working has been adjusted. I do agree with a lot of the feedback given. I did not realised it at first but I tend to over look a lot of minor details in my work. Elise from BBDO was very attentive. She even pointed out this little mistake in one of the lines on my case study video for LEGO. I think details really make a lot of difference to the work. With the list of portfolio links that she sent me, I went through and had a look at some of them. It was good, some of them even felt as if I could roughly guess what kind of person is behind all that work. Now that we all have more than enough time to enjoy not being in Uni, I can focus more on the portfolio work.
