Someone noticed us!

I woke up to 2 emails one morning. One email saying that the company will not be moving forward with our application. But the other email came as a surprise. I've send our portfolio to Jaywing Leeds and didn't hear from them for a while. Seeing how there was no response, I thought that maybe our stuff weren't so good. So, I was really happy to receive an email from them saying that they would like to have an interview with us. At the beginning, I thought to myself if there was some problem with our portfolio because we weren't getting any response back. It is nice that both Dan and Matt from Jaywing liked it. While I'm not sure what to expect, but next Tuesday would be my first job interview. Bit nervous for it.

In the meantime, Grace and I have working and building out portfolio together as a team. We list down some household brands and tried to find a problem to solve. At the moment, the brand that we are working on is Freddo, the chocolate bar. Based on our research, Freddo used to be sold at 10p. But over the years, people were unhappy over the increase of their childhood chocolate bar. Each generation has been comparing the price. It is now sold at 25p at Sainbury's which led to a lot of public criticism over social media. So how can we get people excited over the humble chocolate bar again?

The solution:   Conspiracy theories about where the money has gone to? The campaign will roll out with posters questioning about the increase in price. It will then be revealed on social media that Freddo has gone off with the extra money to spend a lavish life.

The reveal behind these conspiracy theories on social media:

This is where we are at the moment with our Freddo campaign. I'm more excited about the interview with Jaywing!
