Feeling unmotivated

Last Monday, Grace and I submitted our take on the project brief that Jaywing gave us. The aim of the brief was to get young people to visit and donate to Historical Palaces. As a charity, the Historical Royal Palaces don't receive any fundings. Instead, they relied very heavily on the public's donation in order to keep the place maintained and open. However, the problem was that young people don't go to such places. There are more options than ever to keep themselves entertained, so why would young people today visit these old houses? Jaywing Leeds

  The interview with Jaywing went pretty well! As a matter of fact, they were incredibly nice to us. As it was our first job interview together as a creative team, Grace and I spend some time preparing questions and doing research about the company. Despite being a small agency, Jaywing combines data and creativity into their ideas. What I liked about their agency is that they dug deep into their consumer insight. The insight became the foundation of their ideas. It didn't feel that foreign to me. All the terms that they used at the agency are what we used in class as well. One of the campaign that I thought was interesting was the First Direct campaign. It touches on a boring topic: 'Mortgage' which people struggle to understand sometimes. Banks can be terrifying when one is unfamiliar with the terms. Despite some technical issues, what they liked was the thought process behind some of our work.
